Education

Hospice Waikato is committed to providing ongoing education for both our own staff, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure our patients and their family/whānau receive the best care available. We work in collaboration with other health providers to provide a wide range of education opportunities in palliative care for health professionals, health workers, community colleagues and groups.

Hospice Waikato's education programmes, aim to give other health professionals in the community the skills they need to provide the best palliative care. As a specialist centre, we can provide targeted onsite training for a range of health professionals and allied health workers. We can work with you to design learning and development programmes for the specific needs of your organisation.
