Looking for Your Next Creative Treasure?

If you love sewing, quilting, dressmaking, textile art, knitting, crochet or crafting, Fabric-a-brac is the perfect place to discover something new.  Visitors can browse a wide variety of fabrics, patterns, haberdashery, sewing notions, yarn, craft supplies and hidden treasures, all offered by fellow makers and fabric enthusiasts. It's an opportunity to find inspiration for your next project while connecting with others who share your passion for creativity.  Whether you're a seasoned maker or just starting out, you'll find plenty to explore.

Become a Stallholder and Clear Your Stash

Let's be honest, most crafters have a few shelves, boxes or cupboards filled with fabric and supplies purchased with the very best intentions.  Fabric-a-brac Hamilton is seeking stallholders who would like to sell quality fabric, patterns, haberdashery, yarn, sewing supplies and craft materials that are ready for a new home.  Quilters, dressmakers, textile artists, fabric collectors, craft sellers and sewing enthusiasts are all warmly invited to register their interest.  Hosting a stall is a great way to clear some space, connect with fellow fabric lovers and support Hospice Waikato at the same time.  To express your interest in becoming a stallholder, email [email protected].

Donate Fabric and Craft Supplies

Can't make it as a stallholder but still want to support the event?  We're also welcoming donations of quality fabric and craft-related items. That fabric you bought for a future project, those spare sewing notions, or the vintage sheets tucked away in a cupboard could become someone else's next creative masterpiece.  We are seeking donations of:

  • Fabric
  • Patterns
  • Sewing notions and haberdashery
  • Yarn and craft supplies
  • Tea towels
  • Retro sheets
  • Tablecloths

Donations help keep useful items out of landfill, encourage creativity within our community and raise vital funds to support Hospice Waikato's specialist palliative care services across the Waikato region.Donations can be dropped off before 30 September 2026 at:
Hospice Shop Claudelands
776 Grey Street
Hamilton

Turning Fabric into Care

Every fabric purchase, donation and stall booking helps support Hospice Waikato's work caring for people with life-limiting illnesses and their whānau throughout the Waikato.  Fabric-a-brac Hamilton is more than a fabric sale. It's a chance to share resources, reduce waste, celebrate creativity and come together as a community to help ensure Hospice Waikato can continue providing compassionate care when it matters most.  Whether you choose to attend, donate or become a stallholder, we'd love you to be part of Fabric-a-brac Hamilton.  For all enquiries, email [email protected].
