Registered Nurse – 32 hours per week - In Patient Unit

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our In Patient Unit (IPU) team on a permanent part time basis. This position provides specialist palliative care to patients and their family/carers in our IPU. Our IPU is continually looking for new opportunities to deliver leading edge, patient focused palliative care, such as new treatment and supportive care approaches, enhancing the environment to meet patient and family/whanau needs, and the development of inpatient hospice services for children and young people.

To be the right fit for this role and our organisation you would bring:
Essential:


• Registered Nurse qualification
• Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Experience in palliative care or a related field
• Proficiency in the use of computers and digital technology
• A desire to learn and grow as an individual
