Farmers Trees of Remembrance

Farmers Trees of Remembrance

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the Caring Connections in our Community campaign gave Farmers customers the opportunity to remember someone special to them, and to make a donation or buy a limited-edition bauble in support of the work of hospice.

100% of all funds donated in each store remain in the local community, helping to ensure that hospice care remains free of charge for people with life-limiting conditions, their families and whānau.

We are extremely delighted to announce that a grand total of $58,322.75 has been raised for Hospice Waikato as part of this campaign. This is the largest amount raised by this campaign for Hospice Waikato to date!

Nationally the campaign raised $768,162.08 – up almost $100,000 on last year!

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who took a moment to visit Farmers to make a donation and write a message in memory of a loved one.

We would also like to say a huge Thank You to the wonderful staff at Farmers Te Rapa, Matamata, Hamilton CBD, Chartwell and Thames, for their support throughout this campaign. 100% of donations towards this campaign stays within our community, helping Hospice Waikato to continue to provide its services free of charge.
