Patients and Families

Whether you are a patient or a carer, you are not alone. Hospice Waikato is here to help you, wherever you are on your journey.

We provide support for around 1,400 patients and their families every year. Hospice Waikato’s core focus is to help people living with a life-limiting illness to live life to its fullest, while providing comfort and quality care.

Our patients and their families benefit from our nurses help whether it be regular medical input or a visit/phone call to see how you are doing. We also provide education for community groups and health care professionals who care for patients who are dying and their family/whanau.
