Other Ways You Can Help
Fundraising Committees
Because Hospice needs to generate in the close vicinity of $1.9 million operational income from fundraising activities, we need people to help plan and run special events. Our Events Coordinator often seeks support of people to help just on the day of a special event and our Fundraising Events Committee always needs those who could help with planning and organising the events that they are responsible for. Events include dinners, auctions, an annual house tour, sporting tournaments and functions with special celebrities. Sponsorship
One of the key areas in which Hospice needs help is sponsorship from individuals and businesses. Financial sponsorship enables the Hospice to fund events that generate income for our hospice palliative care services. Sponsorship also helps defray the costs of producing fundraising material. Sponsorship is available at a variety of levels such as placing an ad in our newsletter or sponsoring one of our annual events.
