Family/Whānau Art Sessions

Family/Whānau Art Sessions

Arts session for patients and their friends, family and whānau

This service is available any weekday on request. Patients staying with us or a group of family/whānau can have a one on one session with a Counsellor or Creative Therapist in the Creative Space.

Hospice Art programme provides a moment for the experience of illness and end-of-life concerns to shift, however briefly, into the background. Creativity is a fundamental life force, whether you express your own or find yourself in the presence of something that reaches you - a painting, a handmade card, or a decoupage.

This programme offers you the opportunity for relaxation and self-expression. It also offers you the opportunity to replenish your spiritual soul and inner artist and to leave a lasting, tangible legacy.

Frequency & time: To be arranged
Venue: Creative Space
Facilitator: Charmaine Smit and Loesje de Bree - Counsellors.

If you wish to attend, please phone Reception on 07 859 1260.
