Creative Therapy Support Groups

Creative Therapy Support Groups

This is a group offers patients and caregivers a safe place to have time for themselves, to relax, read the newspaper, work on a puzzle, create a mosaic or decoupage a memory box, paint a picture or have a massage. It also offers participants a chance to meet with other patients and family members - to listen, learn, exchange ideas, share experiences, laugh or cry. A very warm welcome is always guaranteed.

Frequency: The Friday support group runs throughout the year.
Time: Starts at 10am, finishes around 3pm. You’re welcome to stay for all or part of the day.
Hospitality: Morning tea and light lunch provided.
Venue: Creative Space
Facilitators: The workshop is facilitated by a trained counsellor and experienced volunteers are available to help you with your projects.

If you wish to attend please discuss with your Hospice nurse or phone Charmaine Smit or Loesje de Bree on 07 859 1260.
