Governance
Waikato Community Hospice Trust is registered under the Charitable Trusts Act 2005 on 18 January 2008. A Board of Trustees, drawn from the Waikato community is responsible for the organisation.

Personnel
The work of Hospice Waikato is carried out by 42 paid nursing, counseling and administration staff together with over 400 volunteer workers. With the support of Management, staff are encouraged to further their education in their respective professional discipline in order that we can maintain a skilled and experienced team of professionals.
